Coaching
Coaching is uncharted territory for many. You might be wondering what coaching even is. In my coaching practice, I aim to coach the whole person: who you are at work, in your personal life, with loved ones, and as an individual. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, so instead of giving you advice, my role is to facilitate you bringing forward the best answers for yourself. Unlike therapy, we’re focused on the present and the bright future ahead. Here are some focus areas I typically coach on:
01 — Career Aspirations
Whether you’re fresh out of school, a new manager, or an experienced leader, there is always room to grow. Coaching can help you take on new perspectives, realize blindspots, narrow in on goals, give you clear steps to accomplish what you want to achieve, and offer accountability to follow through.
02 — Visioning
For many of us, we’ve made decisions based on what we thought we should do. We focused on pleasing others, “doing the right thing”, or playing it safe in exchange for what we really wanted. Sometimes we’re in so deep, we don’t even know what we want. Coaching enables big thinking, identifying what your “Why” is, and having a partner to encourage you every step of the way.
03 — Relationships, of all kinds
It’s in relationship with others that we learn the most about ourselves. That learning can be messy, challenging, invigorating, and enlightening. We can unpack what’s below the surface and decide what to take forward.
04 — Designing What’s Here and Now
Everyone has their unique circumstances and obligations, and we’re busy juggling it all. But busyness can be a distraction to letting life pass us by. Together, we can figure out what to prioritize, define what self-care looks like for you, and build better, more sustainable habits.
